“Artificial Dance is the empty and the superficial in electronic dance music, fake faces and plastic thoughts. This Ep is the punk influence that Juan Betancur has had since his adolescence, playing with minimalist, raw and detune basslines. In addition, going through post punk, EBM and some elements of modern electro.

Artificial Dance is a direct criticism of a scene with little political awareness, of the normalization of abusive "DJs" in their spaces.

Your electronic music, it's not my electronic music.”

Crimental is the electronic project of Colombian producer Juan Betancur. He currently also vocalist of the Hardcorepunk band "Errante".
The Crimental project was born a little over a year ago in the midst of a pandemic; between boredom, police repression in the streets and the uncertainty of what the coming months will be like. Exploring between post punk, EBM and some elements of modern electro, gives life to his album "Artificial Dance".

This EP consists of 6 songs characterized by a mysterious and filmographic sound that accompanies us throughout all the release.
